The Core Gameplay Loop
5 Essential Tips for Your First Week
1. Get Free Daily Stamina Soup at the Inn
Every day, head to the Sleeping Dragon Inn in town. Interact with the fireplace in the dining area to eat a bowl of free homemade soup once per day. This restores valuable stamina early in the game without costing any gold or ingredients!
2. Upgrade Your Backpack First (1,000 Tesserae)
Do not spend your first earnings on decorative items. As soon as you save 1,000 Tesserae, visit the General Store, interact with the counter, and select Tools to buy the Backpack Upgrade. This doubles your inventory from 10 to 20 slots permanently.

On rainy days, all your crops are automatically watered by nature! Take full advantage of this by reserving 100% of your daily stamina for deep-diving into the Mines.

Do not sell every single forageable or crop! Villagers frequently post quests on the Town Request Board asking for specific crops, fish, or forage. Keeping a safety buffer of 2–3 items in your chests saves you from waiting until next year.
5. Enable HUD Numbers & Adjust Day Speed
Open Game Settings and enable "HUD Numbers" to see your exact health, stamina, and mana values. You can also set Day Speed to "Longest" in settings if you want a more relaxed pace.
