How to Marry & Have Children in Fields of Mistria
Players can marry any of the 12 romance candidates and start a family on their farm.
Marriage Requirements Checklist
- Reach 10 Hearts with your chosen candidate (View All Candidates).
- The day after 10 hearts, Elsie gives you the Engagement Ring recipe.
- Craft the ring using 2 Diamonds, 4 Mistril Ingots, 4 Gold Ingots, and 1 Dragon-Forged Core.
- Hold the ring, use the Discuss prompt to propose, and choose a wedding date. The earliest date is 5 days after the proposal.
How to Have Children & Inherited Traits
Two in-game weeks after the wedding ceremony, the Great Bird appears in a dream and gives you the Mystical Feather.
Hold the Mystical Feather near your spouse to start the family dialogue. The next night, you and your spouse have a second dream and choose how the baby will be delivered.
- The Great Bird can deliver the baby.
- A female spouse or the player can carry the baby; for male spouses, the player can carry the baby.
The baby arrives two weeks after the second dream. The player can only have one child.
