Essence

Essence is a skill-based currency earned from most skill actions once Year 1 Spring 3 has passed, including farming, fishing, mining and foraging. Spend it on skill perks at Caldarus or the Dragon Statue, and in woodcrafting, stone refinery and Mist Spot retrieval recipes. It is the long-term progression resource behind unlocking stronger passive bonuses.
